Same here Lenovo T530 Intel 6205 wifi adapter.
The work around (sudo systemctl restart network-manager.service) works for me
most of the time. Sometimes my machine needs a reboot then a router reboot to
reconnect. It's an old router but didn't present any issues before Ubuntu 16LTS
install.
Minor correction: The fix is committed in yakkety proposed right now:

After recent upgrade network manager stops to work with WiFi network. It
was fixed by manually installing urfkill. It was never installed on my
ubuntu (Raring installation with following upgrades).

This happened to me a few times indeed, unfortunately I've no idea how
to reproduce that or what's causing it.
One thing for sure is that unity8 isn't. It also seems to be hardware-
specific, no other device has done that.
When this happens to you again, will you please post the contents of
Public bug reported:
Using FAT32 filesystem for SD cards in phone is not sufficient. With SDHC and
SDXC cards 4GB file size limit is really not enough.
Is there a chance to change filesystem for SD cards to something different,
e.g. since we are on Ubuntu, to ext3/ext4?
