I see the same as shown in the video in Firefox.
i.e. previously you could click a link to a .deb file, use the Firefox
open with dialog to select 'other', and you would be able to find gdebi
in the 'recommended' or 'view all' applications. With this update, gdebi
is not there and cannot be found

vulkan drivers and vulkan-utils then ran apt-get autoremove to remove
libvulkan1 verified that all vulkan related files were gone then
rebooted and reinstalled them.
Mesa upgraded fine to 17.2.2 this morning but the problem

In other words, while DHCPv6 is done via isc-dhcp, DHCPv4 is done via
ipconfig (klibc); which will need to be fixed
the linux-lts-xenial autopkgtest failures are due to that pkg's test
expecting the running kernel == test kernel, which is wrong as trusty is
running stock 3.13 linux in the test, and the linux-lts autopkgtest
doesn't upgrade to linux-lts-* kernel. so unrelated to this change.

This is caused by a change in the new TZ as reported at [1]. A fix is
provided in [2] but required a small change for the first chunk to apply
cleanly - see attached debdiff.
Other option is to sync the newest version, 8.28-1 [3,4], which includes
the fix upstream and builds cleanly.

The workaround was certainly helpful, but is there a more elegant
solution? I had similar apparmor problem with cupsd (bug 1706052), which
I worked around using the solution here, which eventually led to a fix
