I mean, usually people should have linux-image- installed, not
linux-image-unsigned - they are basically only artifacts used for
building the signed kernel images that are installed by the
metapackages.
Since there is no metapackage that pulls in unsigned kernels, there is
no reason to add
IMO adding two patterns than keeping the rule of not adding patterns that would
only cover versioned kernel packages that could not be installed by installing
meta packages from the archive is worth it due to the reduced complexity.
Alternatively I can add exceptions for those patterns in the
I agree that -unsigned- kernel packages are unlikely to pile up in /boot, but
they are still versioned kernel packages and handling those uniformly helps in
maintainence.
I also added linux-buildinfo to the patterns and an autopkgtest to detect new
kernel packages not covered by patterns, thus

I've confirmed that the "Could not open '/var/lib/snapd/apparmor/snap-
confine'" is not present in standard install of disco. This was a local
issue.
I've also updated the packaging to remove the "dpkg: warning: unable to

Okay the has happened recently at least since march 18, 2019 iso and
march 22, 2019 iso are both effected very similar to one of my
previously reported bugs .. which was related to xorg not being
installed ..

I started receiving this warning when I installed HPLIP on my computer,
and it appears to be preventing me from sending faxes. I also think it
caused me to receive the 'hp-uiscan is not supported for this device'.

Oh. On second thoughts I think you might have made a mistake.
I think more likely the fix came from the reintroduction of the Intel
Xorg driver:
Install: libxcb-randr0:amd64 (1.13.1-2, automatic),
