אבל זה סותר את הבטחתכם שעד ה24/4/23 הסכום יזוכה ישתקף באשראי
כמו כן מדוע רק אתמול העברתם להנהלת החשבונות כאשר ההזמנה בוטלה ב13/4? ההסבר
אינו מספק ולא הסברתם לי על התהליך מלכתחילה ואפילו לא במהלך ההזמנה
נדרש הסבר/תיקון/פיצוי מצדכם
לפחות לפי דעתי

  Triple 4K monitor setup with fractional scaling truncated

  I have three monitors arranged horizontally left-to-right, with
  fractional scaling enabled in Xorg mode (not Wayland):

  #1: laptop, 3840x2400 native, scaled at 225%
  #2: external monitor 1, 3840x2160 native, scaled at 150% (main display)
  #3: external monitor 2, 3840x2160 native, scaled at 150%

  In this setup, a little more than half of the rightmost monitor is
  truncated black.

  I suspect it is caused by oversampled screens (fractional scaling) not
  fitting into the maximum framebuffer size of 16384x16384, as evidenced

הזמנתי מהם - וכך עשו גם בהזמנות קודמות שלי מולם - סיפקו אותן באותו יום

נאלצתי לבטל את ההזמנה לפיכך!
בתאריך 13/4/23 בוטלה ההזמנה - ועל אף שבאג התחייבה שהזיכוי ישתקף תוך 7 ימי
עסקים (כלומר עד 24/4/23) - בפועל העבירה באג את הביטול להנהלת החשבונות שלה
רק בתאריך 23/4/23 או אז הם הודיעו לי שתוך (עוד!!) 5 ימי עסקים אראה את הזיכוי
זה זלזול וחוסר התחשבות בלקוחות ואי עמידה בהתחייבויות מצד באג
אני מבקש שאחת ולתמיד ידגו שאקבל את הזיכוי בזמן ולדעתי גם מגיע לי פיצוי על
עוגמת הנפש שאני עברתי (ועובר!) כאן מולם

כל יום אני צריך לבדוק את מצב כרטיס האשראי כדי לראות אם סוף סוף החזירו את
הכסף!?
וכי לא יכולתם (באג) להעביר את הבקשה לביטול עוד באותו יום עסקים של הביטול?
מדוע העברתם את הבקשה לביטול רק ב23/4/23?
איזו מין התנהלות זאת?
באג: למה אתם גורמים לי (ולעצמיכם) טרחה וכאב ראש??? ביטלתי הזמנ - תחזירו לי
את הכסף! אתם מחייבים אותי וכבר החיוב השני יורד באשראי! מה זה צריך להיות
תגידו לי?

  Simulating Secondary mouse key fails

  I want to simulate the secondary mouse button via the keyboard.
  (By clicking the secondary mouse button, then normally a menu appears.)

  So, I opened the Accessibility menu and enabled the option "Mouse Keys".
  Additionally, I opened the sub-menu of "Click Assist" and enabled the option 
"Simulated Secondary Click".
  You can see these two configuration options enabled - in the attached image 
"MouseKeys_SecondaryClick.png".

  The actual result:
  When continuously clicking the number "5" on the numpad of my keyboard, then

  I want to simulate the secondary mouse button via the keyboard.
  (By clicking the secondary mouse button, then normally a menu appears.)

  So, I opened the Accessibility menu and enabled the option "Mouse Keys".
  Additionally, I opened the sub-menu of "Click Assist" and enabled the option 
"Simulated Secondary Click".
  You can see these two configuration options enabled - in the attached image 
"MouseKeys_SecondaryClick.png".

  The actual result:

When I run on graphical applications (e.g. Calc Libre Office app) the entire 
system freezes.
First, the application window becomes unresponsive, i.e. I still can move the 
mouse cursor around the screen, but clicking on graphical elements does not 
yield any effect. The same for the keyboard. Finally, even the mouse cursor 
freezes. The only thing I can do is a hard reset. As long as I work in the 
browser environment or the terminal console the problem doesn't happen.
It seems the problem is more likely to happen when I quickly switch to the 
second display/monitor.

Immediately after upgrading from 22.10 to 23.04 I am experiencing hourly
crashes from Thunderbird and Firefox. About a third of the time the
application crashes, 2/3 I am crashing out of the desktop session and
must login again.

Thunderbird has crashed about a dozen times on me when I add attachments to an 
email.
Firefox has just crashes while moving a tab out of Firefox onto the desktop.

I have not experienced any of these crashes on previous Ubuntu versions.

  Xorg crash when using Thunderbird and Firefox

  Immediately after upgrading from 22.10 to 23.04 I am experiencing
  hourly crashes from Thunderbird and Firefox. About a third of the time
  the application crashes, 2/3 I am crashing out of the desktop session
  and must login again.

  Thunderbird has crashed about a dozen times on me when I add attachments to 
an email.
  Firefox has just crashes while moving a tab out of Firefox onto the desktop.

  I have not experienced any of these crashes on previous Ubuntu
  versions.

Dirk is correct: The library tries to open /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-
gnu/libheif/plugins, which doesn't exist, but seems to be required in
the libheif version in 23.04.

After creating the path, both eog and gpicview can show HEIF/HEIC files
again, so this is an easy workaround.

According to Dirk, newer versions of libheif do _not_ require the
plugins directory to exist anymore.

This comment is a guess, and I may be completely wrong, but I wonder if
this happens in Ubuntu on Xorg only. If so, it may be related to the
fact that ibus wasn't always automatically enabled at the start of the
session.

That issue was fixed in 22.04 via bug #2007379. So, @nix, it would be
interesting to know if the issue is still present after you have
upgraded the im-config package to version 0.50-2ubuntu22.04.1.

Title:
  gdb wrong dependency to python3.10

Status in gdb package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Just updated to Ubuntu 13.04 and gdb needs libpython3.10.so.1.0 even
  though it depends on 3.11

  I have removed and installed gdb to make sure I got the latest
  version.

  gdb:
Installed: 13.1-2ubuntu2
Candidate: 13.1-2ubuntu2
Version table:

  but when I run it

[Touch-packages] [Bug 2017401] [NEW] Unexpected / unwanted unattended-upgrades behaviour after kernel upgrade when Livepatch enabled

Public bug reported:

Following the resolution for bug #1747499, after a kernel upgrade when
Livepatch is enabled, the current behaviour in unattended-upgrades
(2.3ubuntu0.2 and later) is not to touch /var/run/reboot-required so as
not to confuse users with two separate messages calling for a restart in
motd. This functionality is implemented in the script at
/etc/kernel/postinst.d/unattended-upgrades.

While this works as intended in terms of suppressing an extra message in
motd, it defeats the ability of unattended-upgrades to restart
automatically with the new kernel, which is reliant on /var/run/reboot-
required being present.

This is unexpected / unwanted behaviour in scenarios where a) Livepatch
is being used to provide fast-response kernel patching; and b)
Unattended-Upgrade::Automatic-Reboot is set to true, to enable automatic
reboots during a regular maintenance window. In this case, without
administrative intervention, the system could never boot into the new
kernel even though it would be expected to, leaving Livepatch to do all
the heavy lifting indefinitely, and unnecessarily.

I believe this counts as a regression caused by the resolution to bug
#1747499. It also has the potential to be a security threat if Livepatch
doesn't work comprehensively for a particular kernel flaw, and an
administrator is reliant on expected behaviour according to unattended-
upgrades settings.

Potential options for a fix that come to mind:
1. Revert to original behaviour in /etc/kernel/postinst.d/unattended-upgrades, 
and change the ***System restart required*** message to be less alarming or 
confusing when the cause is a kernel upgrade that's being patched by Livepatch.
2. Add an extra configuration setting (eg 
Unattended-Upgrade::Automatic-Reboot-After-Livepatch) that triggers a reboot 
when it's 'recommended' by Livepatch, not reliant on the presence of 
/var/run/reboot-required.
3. Add support in /etc/kernel/postinst.d/unattended-upgrades for an extra file 
somewhere. When present, /var/run/reboot-required is always touched, even if 
Livepatch is enabled.

(This is my first time reporting a bug in this system, and I apologise
if I haven't followed the usual descriptive format.)
