I still think that this proposal creates a real burden, ABI breakage to
developers. This isn't part of the desktop helper for sure as it doesn't
follow any of the snappy best practices.
To compare paradigms, libwayland has a versioned protocol which is part
of the GNOME and KDE runtime in flatpak.

(so new headers), you don't have the bottom back selector, but the cross
on the top header to cancel your peer selection doesn't work (it stays

It's quite easy to misused the StaverSaver.properties, as it's a string and not
a list.
Consequently this kind of usage is easily to mistype:
StateSaver.properties = "foo bar"
instead of:
StateSaver.properties = "foo, bar"
This will silently fails to save any state. I think

really readable :p
That will help as well to have a new rationale to why this additional
package is needed compared to the initial MIR and about the support and
so on…
