[Touch-packages] [Bug 1611482] Re: System freezes with noveau and GT210 card when Chromium or any video/audio application is started
Interesting that noone reacted on the bug. I was able to circumenvent the problem with the proprietary nvidia drivers. Actually I wanted to avoid this on a new installation, but I'm unable to work if the system freezes randomly if I enter a webpage with a video or launch a video podcast :-( -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1611482 Title: System freezes with noveau and GT210 card when Chromium or any video/audio application is started Status in xorg package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: This is a vanilla installation of 16.0.4 without any nvidia drivers, just the default noveau installation. What a nasty issue - in case other people run into it as well (like said in the forums: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2311705). A direct download link for 14.04.0.3 is: http://packages.ubuntu.com/trusty/amd64/libnl-route-3-200/download http://packages.ubuntu.com/trusty/amd64/libnl-genl-3-200/download http://packages.ubuntu.com/trusty/amd64/libnl-3-200/download so you can choose a mirror near you.
