created the swap as a logical partition. I them reinstall but manually
created a primary partition for the swap and can no longer reproduce the
error. In both cases the '/etc/fstab' where similar.

After setting my account to login automatically through the user and
groups setting in Lubuntu. After the computer reboots it gets stuck in a
loop on the login screen. Logging in will just send you back to the same
screen.
The only way I could fix the issue was to press CRTL

Hello everybody,
Ubuntu is going crazy tonight
No more sound any where even the sound icon has left and the list of
sound cards is now empty.
When i've launch the system, icon is here (and sound also) and after a
few seconds no more sound on any hardware.

I have a script run as root from cron that tweaks smb.conf and restarts
smbd and winbind. Problem is, starting today after working perfectly up
till yesterday, this script now hangs on Ubuntu 15.04. When run from
cron, the process tree looks like this:
service smbd restart
I haven't extensively tested all services, but it looks like anything
set up similarly to smbd. Some have different behaviour, such as
network-manager which immediately returns with:
% sudo restart network-manager
