Thanks, I attached the logs you requested. With 1.11.9-0ubuntu1 the
problem presists. I don't know when exactly it started but it happend
relatively recently. It might be a issue with the setup of X done by
lightdm, because when I launch my session via gdm I don't see this
problem.

Thanks Colin and sorry for the trouble.
I looked into this now and reworked the way that the stopping happens.
It seems to be reliable now and gets the correct appid that is then
passed to app-launch-stop.
However the app still does not stop because ubuntu-app-stop needs to
talk to the users
I pushed a version that correctly gets the dbus session bus and stops
the app for click unregister in lp:~mvo/click/lp1232130-kill-on-
remove-2/ - however its not yet working under PK I'm looking into this
now.

We can do multiple things here, we can test before install via statvfs()
if there is enough free space, but that won't help if the spacing is
filling up while installing. So we need to ensure dpkg reports a out-of-

Uninstalling an app doesn't stop it
I just noticed the open task for ubuntu-system-settings about doing a
addtional hashsum check for the download. Fwiw, click is already doing a
gpg verification before the install so corrupted/MITMed clicks will not
get installed there. Having the hash check may still be a good idea for
e.g. better
Fwiw, we have support for the by-hash scheme in apt in experimetnal:
