[Touch-packages] [Bug 1568889] Re: OTA and u-d-f fail if image is too big for the system partition
I have a Meizu Pro 5 which was originally purchased with android. I installed Ubuntu Touch from the stable channel. I try now to switch to rc-proposed channed using system-image-cli and I have the error of "no space left on device". That happens because the cache partition (/dev/sda43) is only 490MB when, in Ubuntu Touch Meizu Pro 5, that partition is 700MB. So, the tar.xz files do not fit into the 490MB - I would need 10 more MB. Can anybody help me with a way to increase the cache partition? Nothing works: fdisk, parted, mke2fs - not even adb shell while the phone is booted into recovery. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to system-image in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1568889 Title: OTA and u-d-f fail if image is too big for the system partition Status in Canonical System Image: Confirmed Status in android package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Status in system-image package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Status in ubuntu-download-manager package in Ubuntu: Invalid Status in ubuntu-system-settings package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: On Meizu MX4 upgrade from OTA-9.1 to OTA-10 fails. Upgrade downloads normally, phone restarts and starts system upgrade and after a while it freezes with strange icon (small microchip with red sign on it) When you turn off the phone and start it again it still presents itself as OTA-9.1 and again it founds and offer upgrade. Anyway some changes from OTA-10 seems to be applied, because I can see design changes, copy function in web browser etc. It's reproducible on my phone any time I try to upgrade. If I can help with output of some log, or anything else, please let me know. [Touch-packages] [Bug 1649150] [NEW] Cannot scroll somehow to older pictures
Public bug reported: I have many pictures on my SD card, pictures that I took over the years. There is no way to scroll to older pictures - like to scroll on the right of the screen and then I can choose a different year and month - for example I want to jump to August of 2014 to see the pictures from that time. Instead I have to scroll row by row in the Photo Gallery App. ** Affects: gallery-app (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to gallery-app in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1649150 Title: Cannot scroll somehow to older pictures Status in gallery-app package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: I have many pictures on my SD card, pictures that I took over the years. [Touch-packages] [Bug 1590844] Re: Bluetooth headset not working with Meizu Pro 5 Ubuntu Edition
I have a Nokia J Bluetooth headset (BH-806) that connects to my Pro 5 Ubuntu phone but no sound is directed to the headset - instead it is played still on the phone speaker. I tried with another headset and the same result. I tried to record from my headset but it appears to be still using the phone microphone. So the headset is connected but the phone acts is if there would be no Bluetooth headset connected. When I tried to connect a Bluetooth speaker only it worked perfect. So I have a problem only with Bluetooth headsets (that have a microphone as well). Is this the same bug (or a different bug) or does this have any solution somewhere and then maybe somebody can help me? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to bluez in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1590844 Title: Bluetooth headset not working with Meizu Pro 5 Ubuntu Edition Status in Canonical System Image: Confirmed Status in turbo: Confirmed Status in bluez package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: My bluetooth headset perfectly connects to my Meizu Pro 5.
