[Touch-packages] [Bug 1496255] Re: fail to load login screen after booting
I tried just now and failed to get to text terminal. After flashing for a while, it reports there is a graphic configuration problem. I am recently using the Open Graphics Drivers provided by Oibaf. Should I remove the driver? By update I mean regular updates for 15.04, I have been using 15.04 before this problem arises. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to systemd in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1496255 Title: fail to load login screen after booting Status in systemd package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: I'm using Ubuntu 15.04. After updating the computer , it cannot get into the login screen after booting. Instead, after the booting animation, the screen flashes with some booting information (see attachment). I can now only get into login screen by first using repair mode than jump back to normal startup (first selection in repair mode). [Touch-packages] [Bug 1496255] Re: fail to load login screen after booting
After this happens, please log into a text terminal (Ctrl+Alt+F1, or perhaps F2), and check "sudo systemctl status -l lightdm.service". Please make a screenshot if possible. Is it running? Any error messages there? What do you mean with "After updating the computer"? Did you upgrade from Ubuntu 14.04 or 14.10, or just installed the regular updates for 15.04, i. e. did 15.04 previously work for you? ** Changed in: systemd (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to systemd in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1496255 Title: fail to load login screen after booting Status in systemd package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: I'm using Ubuntu 15.04. Problem solved by reverting to standard Ubuntu drivers, using $ sudo ppa-purge ppa:oibaf/graphics-drivers.
