There are so many mobile phones coming and leaving the market.
A car manufactor cannot know and maintain them all.
My car from 2011 worked fine with a new Windows Phone from 2014.

Steps:

I have this issue on ubuntu 16.04.
My current workaround to stop the leak is to add entries such as.
```
cat /etc/NetworkManager/dnsmasq.d/hosts.conf
server=/mydomain/dnsip
