Pascal in answer to : Where did you get the DCP-8065DN ppd? I just choose the driver from the CUPS menu during the install process by trial and error with lots of others because the offered/recommended 7045 driver did not work. I don't know how to direct or answer you further. While the

Shutdown via term. Current,as described before with 14.04 LTS updated every day. and a few reboots from stopped machine. Mentioned on 2015-09-25 that I had to install 14.04. on and no problem since. It is or something similar is happening again. sudo shutdown 3 min. brings me
