slow. The app is very unresponsive and everything seems to take very

Google+, Calendar, System Settings and Messaging get a duplicate
instance in the app carousel showing the app start animation window.
Tapping on such a window takes me to the app that
I have switched to rtm r1 single-boot and got location working in
OSMTouch, Google maps and a weather site on the web. The accuracy
indicated that the GPS was involved. But after a reboot, the location no
longer works for me. Will see if it gets going again if I wait. It sure
feels strange though,
The location support in RTM is "hit and miss". Sometimes it works,
sometimes it doesn't, but it is better than I ever achieved with 'devel-
proposed'.

Since upgrading to RTM the battery life is really poor. What used to be
a battery drain of 5-10% per hour (which is still high) is now 10-15%
per hour. Sometimes the phone runs really hot, so there seem to be
something going on in the background that is consuming

Since wiping the phone and installing RTM, this issue is half solved. I
have now been able to pair my Nexus 4 with BlueAnt and it also connects
automatically when in range. The problem with My Volvo Car still
persists, car detects phone but not the other way, so pairing is not

M10 wifi slows to a crawl when
After hours trying out different settings on the router, and only at one
occasion with bluetooth enabled have I managed to get a decent download
speed on the M10. My conclusion, after doing some further reading, is
that the Bq Aquaris M10 is what you would call a "poorly designed"
device, such that
I checked back in to this issue again today. After a router reboot, it
apparantly hit a channel that didn't play well with my M10. After some
further fiddling with the router normal wifi speed came back. Disturbing
though, that it seems very difficult to find a wifi broadcast channel on
the router
This also occurs after using the Timer app. Dismissing alarm when time
is up launches the clock app.

Did a reset of all the APN settings (I had them manually set to Tele2 Sweden
before) and it reverted to Tele2 Norway. The standard settings are as follows:

unusual that I it asks me to re-enter my wifi password while in the
house. I have also noticed that sometimes I have to pull the indicator

I can see that this bug is marked as fixed, but I haven't been able to
sync any calendars on my Aquaris 4.5 for a long time. Either I get the

Which apps have you tried on Ubuntu Touch? I had the same issue with
accented characters (Å,Ä,Ö etc.) on a Swedish keyboard layout with my
Nexus 4 running rc-proposed pocket desktop. Turned out keyboard didn't
work in Gedit, LibreOffice, Firefox etc., but worked fine in the regular
UT applications.

Interestingly I managed to pair the Designer Mouse through bluetoothctl
in the terminal. It is still not recognized by the bluetooth system
settings though, which shows only my connected keyboard!!
My trick seems to survive a reboot, but I have to turn bluetooth off and
then on again for the mouse

BlueZ within Ubuntu Touch. I have now successfully connected two

I cannot rule out that this is a hardware issue. Following the "no go"
mako-rtm #82 I flashed my phone back to Android, before putting UT back
again. In the short while I was on Android I experienced a somewhat
strange behaviour with the pull down menu there too...

No, I don't use any screen protector, never has. I have dropped the
phone a few times with the Nexus 4 bumper case on, so no broken screen.

This is a nasty bug, because I am only encountering it once in a while
and so far I haven't been able to determine when it occurs other than
just sending an sms to somebody in my phone book. I have seen it with a
number of different contacts, whom have no phone numbers in common.

a louder voice and the output at the other end is apparantly very loud

After looking into the apns-conf.xml on the device, I previously noted
that settings for Tele2 Sweden did not quite match the APN settings for
Nexus 4 recommended by the carrier. Strangely enough, sending MMS still
works. See settings comparison below, the most notable differences being
MNC and APN

OK, I feel like a real "hacker". Managed to install the network-test-sessions
after a while modyfying some of your suggested commands. Pls see attached file
after sending MMS and trying to receive an MMS. Sending goes through, but
nothing happens when receiving.
