I have the same problem on a Samsung NP305U1A-A05CO, Xubuntu 14.04 with latest updates. I want to report that I have installed the propietary ATI Radeon drivers and the problem has gone (now sometimes it dosn't resume, but that's another history). -- You received this bug notification because

Hi, I also have the same issue on my eeepc 1225. When Xubuntu 14.10 was release I upgraded from 14.04 (32 bit). On 14.04 I did not have this issue; however after the upgrade to 14.10 I also switched fglrx for the radeon driver, so I cannot say that it is not related to that. I suspend my

Ian, I did an upgrade. If you know any packages I can swap round to make my install more like a fresh one that would be cool. I haven't had the cursor disappearing problem since removing xfce4 -power-manager and upower, and for some reason my laptop still suspends when the lid is closed. So I'm
