Hi
I was using Trac 0.10 earlier, and my mail notification was working
great, i was able to send and recieve mails when even some changes are
made to the tickets.
Then i upgraded Trac to 0.11b2, I installed Genshi 0.4.4 along with
this, as i was not using Genshi with earlier Trac 0.10 version.
Hi,
while I am currently playing around with the Configurable Ticket
Workflow in trac 0.11, two questions came to my mind and I do not seem
to find a documented solution to them.
1 - Is it possible to assign default values to specific stages of a
workflow?
the idea is to define one person
Could any one please let me know, why am not able to recieve mails.

Sure about this setting? This seems a bit weird. It should be a FQDN,
except with some very specific STMP configurations.
Activate the debug log level, and search for SMTP notification

Thanks Manu for your reply.
I activated the debug log level as you said and i found the following
error:
2008-05-02 15:46:23,098 Trac[web_ui] ERROR: Failure sending
notification on change to ticket #75: (10061, 'Connection refused')

The smtp server(microsoft exchange server) has got changed by our
Admin.
But i have incorporated those changes in my trac.ini [notification]
tag.
one more thing, i just did
import smtplib
server = smtplib.SMTP('smtp.mydomain.net',25)
from my python shell, even there am not able to connect.
I activated the debug log level as you said and i found the following
error:
File C:\Python24\lib\smtplib.py, line 306, in connect
raise socket.error, msg
error: (10061, 'Connection refused')
Have you changed anything else but Trac+Genshi ? Like an upgrade of
your server ?
ok I found the solution to my first question:
deploy = fixed - deployed
deploy.operations = set_resolution, set_owner
deploy.set_owner = username
deploy.permissions = TICKET_MODIFY
now on to my 2nd, anyone?

What is needed to run the showworkflow script on Windows? It looks
like a Linux script, but then again I'm not too sure.

Oddly enough I _just_ played with this on a Windows box today. The
showworkflow script isn't useful as it's linux specific, but it's
really just a shell around some python code and that code works just
fine on Windows as far as I can tell. Here's what I did:
1) Installed the Windows version of

Ah, I understand now why I didn't see a difference after adding the
three lines of code (I did restart apache by the way). Perhaps I
should explain my desire a little more clearly. My original question
had more to do with the behavior of the browser component of Trac when
viewing the repository
