[Trac] User with valid pki certs cannot login to Trac

I have run across an unusual issue. I have one user who is not able to login to Trac after renewing his PKI certificates. The certificates are loaded in his browser but on every attempt to access Trac, he gets an SSL error. I see the following error in tthe ssl_error_log: access to
