I guess I must fortunately admit I'm partially wrong about nvidia.

Through the thread, I see there's no problem with the instalation (Flash
drive, HDD or whatever), except with me... Or better: with some piece of
hardware I have.
Thank you for all those help me with my doubts and, in anyway, tried to help
me. I'm sure Trisquel it's a good OS by the few
Hi,
I have been using Freeplane for sometime and find the ease of making
connected nodes very helpful. But, i find the parent-child connectivity too
restrictive sometimes. Can anyone who uses it advice me on how to create
multi-parent single child connections and flowchart like
Subject says it all, just FYI.
Trisquel 4.0 (Taranis) for the desktop also reaches End of Life on May 9 2013
but remains supported on servers until 2015.
Also, Trisquel 5.5 (Brigantia) reaches End of Life on the same day.

Some programs are mind maping software, which is not what you want. You need
concept mapping software, but I can only give you a list of both.

That's linking or something. Freeplane has that feature.

Hi, I'm new to the forum and first of all I'd like to thank the Trisquel team
for making an awesome operating system. I've been using Toutatis since RC2
and it's great!
Here is my question, can a public institution, in particular a university,

wikipedia is how i came to know about freeplane. I was at that time looking
for an alternative to freemind.
Are you talking about the node with text Free Positioned Node? It curved

I know that Liberation Serif is exactly size-compatible with Times New Roman,
and size (with all its nuances in fonts) is what the standards are concerned
about. I haven't met any teacher that refuses to accept a paper in Liberation
Serif when the standard calls for Times New Roman; I don't
Here is my question, can a public institution, in particular a

thesis and other works, such as papers? It is the case of a friend of
mine.
They can do anything.
I believe there has to be some kind of standard (margins, font
I noticed the node so I included the link to the picture. Didn't really check
the feature out.
For diagrams and flowcharts I use Dia. You can find it in the Trisquel
repositories. In Dia, you need to put objects and connect them, so I imagine
that is not exactly what you are looking for.
I would advise FreeSerif instead.
What exactly happens when an operating system is at its end of life or
unsupported (besides, obviously, that it's not distributed anymore)? Will the
users of this forum suddenly give no help for users of those systems on May
9? Will they cease to function on May 9?

There's no file radeon.conf. I edited xorg.conf to read as you said, and
still I'm dealing with Blinder instead of Blender (thanks a ton to Gustavo
for that joke). I very much hope you meant replace the existing contents of
the file with that text, because I can't remember the previous text.
That freezing happened with me some times in the past weeks; I'm using GNOME

I couldn't use the keyboard, only the mouse, whose clicks produced no
response at all from the computer. The freezing stopped a download of mine

I've faced a similar situation before, the only difference is that I went on

It really is sickening when schools not only encourage, but require use of
nonfree software. Unfortunately, as far as I can tell, students encourage it
in the name of using technology or something similar.
Requiring use of Times New Roman is one of the smaller offenses.
