Sometimes DuckDuckGo gives me only irrelevant trash. Sometimes DuckDuckGo don't gives me ANY results. It seems that it's search database have only small part of RuNet. Only for example, search query ватикан - рай для педофилов: https://duckduckgo.com/?t=trisquelq=ватикан+-+рай+для+педофилов;

If you want the best searc results under a powerful engine (currently Google), then use Startpage under SSL: https://www.startpage.com. It is Google's search results minus the data and IP tracking. They even have image and video searching as well.

I don't think Startpage has a filter bubble, unless I'm missing something. If they don't track you (which Startpage doesn't, as far as I'm aware), there isn't even a technical way to implement a filter bubble.

The GPL benefits the original copyright holder the most becuase they have total control over the licensing. The copyright holder can change the license at any time and even dual license the code with the GPL and their own commercial license if they wanted to make code proprietary if needed.
