I think if it works then it's great! :)
It's a good idea to document such changes somewhere, in case you need to
change them or reinstall the system or whatever.

Both Gitbull and Notabug look very nice.
I've been using Evolution Mail for a long time and I've found that it
periodically shows quirks in its usability. The current version that is in

GCompris 13.11 is in Trisquel's repository.
GNU/Linux systems not aimed at power users, like Trisquel, tend to have all
libre drivers and firmware installed by default. So if you don't have it in
Trisquel's default install (excluding net install, of course), there probably
isn't a libre driver available.
In the case of AMD and

where can I find non proprietary graphic drivers for amd and nvidia?
open source graphic drivers are non proprietary?
For Nvidia, open a terminal and type:
sudo apt-get install xserver-xorg-video-nouveau
For amd I'm not sure, sorry.
Hi lembas, thank's for the suggestion.
Yes I already tried that. Actually I've made a bunch of changes to the
settings and I don't seem to be having the problem any more. I'm not sure
what exactly fixed it.
I like to keep my settings on Use custom, Always use private browsing mode,
I'd have to say the transition is not going smoothly so far.
Just as an example, take the case of a new user of Trisquel 7.0 who is
accustomed to installing software from Add/Remove Applications. He goes to
Add/Remove Applications, and searches for Thunderbird (because he's used it

In Icedove I got this popup saying I needed to update GnuPG to the latest

During the installation, I noticed that unlike Debian, Trisquel didn't offer
me the option to completely overwrite the disk. It did allow me to write
empty space for greater security. But that process only takes a few minutes.
Whereas with Debian the completely overwriting entire disk option
Trisquel uses a modified version of Ubiquity the Ubuntu installer, which will
be why you weren't given a Debian 'completely overwrite' option.
IIRC the GRUB2 question was so that you could dual boot to propriety
operating systems without needing to know the automatically generated grub
