This is what I would suggest if the OP wanted to go back to using this
system. I am under the impression that they just want to recover data
from it, which can be achieved more easily by mounting the disk with
graphical tools.

Ah. Just reread your message and saw that you were able to get into your
wife's account. This means that the disk is not encrypted, which is
good. That was my worry, since the graphical Trisquel

Hello to all. I came here because none of the other forums could helped me.
I am not using Trisquel anymore, although I consider the concept interesting,
but not practical, anyway...I have some photos in the disk, that I would like
to retrieve, particularly photos of my then pregnant wife. It
can't attach photos to prove what I said...
