We are let to believe that there are so many options to choose from, but when
you think about it, the use cases, the best one is still to meet the person
you want to speak with "in person"
Thx for all the infos you shared.
I won't say that I don't trust them, its just that I like to understand what
I apply. And looking at: https://github.com/pyllyukko/user.js/ I would need a
lot of time to understand all that.
But noscript is worth to keep, thx for the input!
Isn't umatrix the advanced version of noscript? Should be redundant if I make
rules per site (uscript) and not globally (noscript)
Kind regards
Ahh just as I posted this question, I realized that the entries are from the
server I connect to.
Stupid me ^^
Hello!
I was playing with SSH today and then I noticed that my known_host file in
~/.ssh had already 3 entries. I can't remember when I put them there and
which one would be the known hosts for me. Has anyone an idea should anything
be there per default or how could something land there?
@nickeylodeon
Thanks for the new insights, I didn't think about Pavel being a Russian Gov.
player. But that explains why the Russian Gov. was only afraid of
Telegramto make it more popular.
It was not easy for me to switch to Telegram, had to install a lot of clients
to my close
Well looking into user.js and firejail I think they are too much for my
taste, but keep pushing the limits :D
Thx and kind Regards.
Ok that was fast, ublock origin uses some kind of umatrix, but umatrix gives
you more information.
Please tell me what do I need beside umatrix, which addons would work well
with umatrix?
Currently I have:
uMatrix
HTTPS Everywhere
Privacy Badger
Damn and I just got comfortably with ublock origin custom filtering :D
I solved the issue. I'll post the solution just for others that might have
the same issue:
1. As said before I deleted indicator applet:
sudo apt remove mate-indicator-applet
At this stage you should have Telegram responding correctly but no volume
tray icon and you get an error on
Today I was @ work again and I noticed there both; volume and Telegram
work.Confuses me even more.
@happy_gnu Already tried
Hello!
There is a problem with Telegram icon in the tray; Normally at my Work-PC
Telegram opens with a single-left-click on the Telegram tray icon, but at my
home PC it opened the context menu.
After this observation I reinstalled the mate-panel at my Home-PC and
Telegram started to open
Well I am now taking a probably radical approach, will see how long it lasts:
I block everything in ublock origin and site by site I allow just what is
needed to load the page... Sometimes I don't even commit (temporary allow).
The thing that annoys me is that I have to every time allow
Hello!
I just started using Trisquel GNU/Linux, also tried PureOS (which is a nice
free distro) but I didn't feel at home (mostly due to GNOME 3).
Anyway, now on Trisquel I see the default browser is Abrowser. One thing I
don't like is that it is not up to date (security concerns) so I
