Finally I found it was linked with my xmpp server issue..not client..
Do you know any xmpp server that offers fast download or upload..if yes, what
is their maximum speed?
Thank you
How I could add ricochet repository to trisquel? richochet is totally free
source? right
Thank you
Would it work if you treat them as adults, and:
- give them the information necessary to decide for themselves (informed
consent)
- put limits to avoid them destroying the lives and privacy of other people.
When doing such choices, most adults are, formally(trough an EULA) or
informally(when
Regarding firejail, run
firejail --noprofile waterfox
If that works, you can build a profile for it. The standard won't work but it
is doable. If it doesn't... that's more complicated and you would have to
contact the author of firejail.
Probably it will work, it's just a case of some folder b
I've also lowered the price of the stickers a bit:

and we sell extra batteries:

and trisquel USB drives :)

Yes, it is free/libre software. You can just download and extract and run, it
is kinda portable. However it is possible that the last version (1.1.4 I
think) will not work in Trisquel 7, in that case use previous version (1.1.3
I believe) which will run just fine. There are no serious securit
Just want to express once again a great satisfaction and gratitude at the
work of Leah (and others who work with her) on providing free
hardware/software for people on a tight budget. Great work, please keep
things going like this.
I have an external USB drive that currently when I connect to my computer
appears as not being mounted, I click it, and it mounts, but when I try to
access the folder it says I have not the right permissions. I can only use
this as root.
I have tried running sudo nautilus, and navigated to
Never had this error (yet... ). But I know I have the first line of grub.cfg
(I took mine from Libreboot, and modified it a bit) about setting some
prefix.
It says "set prefix=(memdisk)/boot/grub"
I can't precisely figure out where (memdisk) is though (besides being inside
GRUB).

Technoethical team is happy to announce the T400s (not to be confused with
his older brother T400):
https://technoethical.com/laptops/tet-t400s
This is the ideal laptop for those who waver between the X200 and T400: it is
much lighter and slimmer than T400 but as powerful, and it has a touch
I'm just curious, did you run
sudo chown -R user /media/user/usbdrivename
to change ownership of the usb drive?
Thanks you! I had run the command the wrong way (I was basically always
assigning the drive to root again and again, I wasn't including the user).
However, after running that proper command and being able to change
permissions, I see no files at all inside the folder! And if I remove and

Those media control keys look nice, I could see that volume rocker going on
my X200 Tablet.
Also, is that touchpad textured? It looks like a matrix of squares or
circles.
Sorry I have figured it now. The command (as you explained) did the trick.
But I was having an issue with my firejail profiles that was preventing
accessing some folders in the system, which was causing the issue I mentioned
above. All is good now I think. Thank you so much for all the help :
The keyboard is more recent, it's the same keyboard you can find in T420. But
T420 doesn't have fully free BIOS. The X220 doesn't have fully free BIOS
either.
Yes, the touchpad is textured. :-)
Good to know! Thanks. I'm ok. I just don't enjoy banks and their fees as a
rule. :) Very much looking forward to the shipping notification! Excited!
No repository is available with ricochet?
I should install manually?
Let know the commands I should use

Hmm... pity neither debian nor devuan, nor even trisquel support adding this
package to their repos.
It works better than firefox most of the time. Although that's my opinion
heh.
I figured out that there is NO default download folder and that causes
errors...
and yes --noprofile waterfox does work, but, I wish I knew if --noprofile was
as secure as the latter.
You can:
install GDebi from the package manager
download https://packages.ubuntu.com/xenial/amd64/ricochet-im/download
double-click on the downloaded package
click the "Install package button
type your password
click the "Apply" button
The package is for Ubuntu 16.04 but it will probably work.
--noprofile is just to test. If it works, one can build a profile for it. But
it requires testing and tweaking.

I downloaded the software and my results are what a piece of junk this

deleted for good!!
That is a cool machine! Does any T400s work with libreboot?
