Q\\\I'm glad this has finally been done; now, we're free of conflicts
with Mozilla's trademark issues.
Thanks for the info.
This is an old issue with Trisquel and Prism Break. He doesn't even care.
As it has been said before, just because he thinks Ubuntu is spyware (which
can be turned off see fixubuntu.com by an EFF advocate), he therefore
concluded that Trisquel must be because it's based on Ubuntu. Nothing

The first time I looked at the large format one my eye didn't go back to the

it's GNU Linux my eye does the same with some of the smaller examples because
the G bleeds to a O. So from my 'Non-designers' Design
Thanks for this info brah!

My hp printer is not listed on h node. For gnulinux hp makes hplip software.
Hp states it is open source software. In my ubuntu package manager hplip is
present and many other packages tied to hp.
What kind of software is hplip? Is it source code? Is it a matter of licenses
that fsf will not
h-node.org lists only hardware that its users tested and reported
there. All printers supported by free drivers (without nonfree
firmware) at versions included in Trisquel should work.

i installed windows 7 and then trisquel like you said, with grub...

did you install trisquel without bootloader? because it seems that bootrepair
thinks everythingworks fine.
I don't see any change in Trisquel 6. Are we talking about a Trisquel 7

This is the page (and the 'Supported Printers' link there) [1] to goto to
find out if a HP printer is supported by the free software hplip
driver. You might need a version more current than in Trisquel 6.0 if
your printer is more recent. There are a couple of methods to get the

Did you use Boot Repair as its own disk, or did you run it from within the

Tonlee,
I had written to fsf to add HP printer to their list of hardware that support
free software, especially h-node a week ago. If possible please check whether
thy have done it.
I have switched to freeslack.
When the dust has settled on the systemd controversy and the various
accusations against is have been proven to be groundless, or there is simply
no longer any choice at all, I'll consider accepting it on this machine.
But I don't see me ever accepting Gnome,
Thunderbird is not available either in Trisquel 6 or 7, anymore. But Icedove
has only been added to the repository of Trisquel 7.
I figured as much, I'm back on T6 and could not find IceDove.
