Hi Tonlee,
I am having a HP Deskjet D1500 series printer. It works like charm with
Trisquel GNU/Linux 6.0.1 LTS version. So I understand, atleast from software
point of view, the HP Printers of D1500 series are completely compatible with
free software. But the same may not be true for some

Even if you ignore the add-on problem it is not because all four freedoms are
not available. You get 3 or maybe 3.5 depending on how you count. Rebranded
versions allow you to escape Mozilla's crazy licensing and restore all 4. So

By mistake.

not much I think, well if you use ssh and ffmpeg then I guess it
wouldn't be to hard. In fact I think(?) I remember them having a cool
looking pro GUI, ha
That's true, but the ubuntu/debian keyrings are included in the Trisquel
repos, so you don't need to import external keys to verify
I have tried apt-get upgrade but I have no updates from thunderbird, icedove

When are the replacement planned?
Thanks you.

I prefer to use only official repo

I second Sachin-- use a wiki.
Of course if you are still on Trisquel 6, this is better:
libgl1-mesa-dri-lts-trusty

After running
$ who -r
I got the output:

use a group wiki or setup webdav
I don't have psmouse and maybe it shouldn't be an option to install

sudo apt-get install libgl1-mesa-dri
Greetings ladies and gentlemen.
I think the title is self-explanatory but I will elaborate on that just in
case:
I want to work with my friends on a specific subject and we would want to
have an alternative to google docs. We are now working with the owncloud
editor but we are looking for
Ok, I've removed the Thunderbird part.
Thank you.

Be careful though: unlike Trisquel's page, other sites (such as
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/extensions/) propose non-free
add-ons.
Is funny owncloud is been appraise by the FSF
Yeah I don't get the hurry either. A nice transition to Icedove would've
been appreciated. It's not very nice to remove a major and widely used
package from an LTS version without providing a freed version as replacement.
You are free to install any add-on you want in your browser. But Trisquel,
being an operating system dedicated to free software, won't make it available
to you by default if it isn't free software. You have to find and install it
yourself.
The owncloud project provides its own ppa where you will find the owncloud
client. Just follow the links for Desktop Client on owncloud.org - and don't
be surprised if the Ubuntu packages come from an opensuse.org, that's because
they are built using the Opensuse Build Service. If you trust
Thank You
I forgot about the drag and drop matter.
Question?
You know there is other applications that do their job, based on their
purpose and they are not listed neither under commons or gpl.
Abrowser does not let you pick other add-ons, besides the already listed for
Trisquel.
Magic Banana
Whem you mention any .xpi file, you ment to said; Any file that is listed in
the add-ons section for the a-browser users only? About other extensions or
scripts not listed.
Thank You
I don't use owncloud, but these show up in a search carrying the 6.3 version.
Maybe one of these in the near future will have version 7:

how is possible to move button and element from gnome panel on trisquel

I can drop launcher but I would to move the menu and the list of windows in

Thanks you.
Hi,
How I can upgrade to the 7 beta?
Thanks you.
People should not install package outside repositoires.
Apt check each packages against their digital signature and if the signature
don't match the official one, warn you and ask you what to do (install anyway
or discard).
Usually when you have this error just run apt-get update and you're
Thunderbird in theory IS free software, but free software evangelists don't
like that it uses the Mozilla add-ons page which contains some non-free
packages.
Btw, does this IceDove release replace the integrated Bing search with
DuckDuckGo?
Yes, for me it works really good.

Trisquel 7 of course since its an Ubuntu 14.04 release.
Well, not really. As I wrote earlier, we could check that /etc/init/lxdm.conf
starts at runlevel 2 but I see no reason why this script would have been
modified.
An idea: it may actually be that gnuby's system is not booting into runlevel
2. Let see: what is the output of the following comma

You could try editing the suspend/hibernate scripts to remove the module
Thanks for your information.
I will give claws-mail a try.
You are using claws-mail-pgpinline, right? Is everything working well? I

I have to write a new appamor profile for claws
You can also drag&drop a .xpi onto a abrowser window.
Remember to check the license before you install.
I guess that wasn't it then. The xserver is a thingy behind graphical

Unfortunately the state of freedom can change on these projects. So long as
you can ensure that you are getting a purely free version then it is no real
issue for installation instructions but that cannot be done here.
Personally I'm just saddened that Thunderbird is no longer free software b
Man, thunderbird was part of trisquel for years and years.
Now that it has been removed for a few days we shouldn't even tell people
anymore how to install it? This is just ridiculous, sorry.
