Thanks for the efforts, loldier.
What does backport mean? It seems that from backport I can get the same
version as you have.
The Xfce trouble topic got locked, so I'll post here.

If you installed Whisker Menu from Belenos repos, you probably have version
1.3.2-1.

some more news:
Still with 6 cores, I've tested everything in QEMU.
Seems my first build of Coreboot was problematic.
Building a new one, I can reach the LiveCD on the KFSN4-DRE.
Definitely used microcode updates (didn't work without).
SeaBIOS is displayed every time on the external GPU.
So
They have other downsides, IIRC (no https or something).
I think Firefox (and it's children) is a must because it's a great web
development tool, it's more easily hackable (I have a script copying the URL
displayed to use with youtube-dl), and it's still safer than lightweight

I have to admit that I let it run for months without turning it off, and I
don't know if the fan needs cleaning.
Thermal paste, good idea, I'll try that too.
Unfortunately, I don't know, but I'm pretty sure there's a log about that
somewhere.
I hope Signal no longer depends, recommends, or suggests (optionally or
not) Google Cloud Messaging (GCM) and related non-free software made from
Google.
This has been stressed frequently in the libreplanet-br mailing list,
specially since lots of people are now fostering Riot and Signal, but at
I wonder if they don't have the problems of cellphones. I mean if they can
receive, they can be located I guess. I don't know.
Isn't that what the thugs use in the first season of "The Wire" (along with
"burners")? Ah, even doctors still use that.
Nevertheless, pagers continue to be used by
Trust in the knowledgeable users, not trust in the developers (like
proprietary software imposes).
Still, in the world of the knowledgeable the ignorant holds no other currency
than trust.
I second that question?

It is free software: you, and all its users, can study the source code, which
probably does not do anything you would not want it to do (otherwise, the
developer would not give you this freedom).
Just out of curiosity, why is Replicant out of the question for you?
Is this genuine: https://signal.org/android/apk/
I was guided to it by people that supposedly knows a lot about computer
security and privacy. If it is real, how do I check if the sha256 fingerprint
matches?
I got this

Thanks. I don't understand any of the technical stuff discussed here and
there but it seems that things are going a better way?
But my question is: Should I worry about the Shortcutkey2URL-app's level of
access to the core of Firefox?
I use Tutanota. It pretty much satisfy the requirements pointed out by
yourself. Give it a chance if Openmailbox keeps suffering the same problems.
I should clarify:
I don't actually know if my problem is heat related or not as I did not
check. I haven't done anything software side to affect fan speed. Also I have
replaced the thermal paste on the CPU --and I know what I'm doing! Probably!
:-)
That message means the extension uses XUL's API or XPCOM's API, whereas
Mozilla now pushes WebExtensions, a technology it shares with other Web
browsers, what eases the work of extension developers. More importantly,
WebExtensions' API does not expose Firefox's internals as much as
that's why Midori, Qupzilla are sometimes a pleasure to use just for their

Important note: I'm *not* involved with OpenMailBox.
you are very welcome, mate hack!
I also noticed that, thanks to some mass missinformation that carried on
to most of the OpenMailBox users and donors, it's now very hard to make
the donation mark pass the 30%. As a user, and unemployed poor, I'm
trying my best to attract more donors, but I think I'll have to make
some drastic
Thanks again SuperTramp :)
>do you configure NoScript and UO?
Of course, and to the strictest rules/settings.
TIP: In noscript, under tab "whitelist" remove every and each website
listed", under 'embeddings' check everything.
In UO activate 'advanced user mode' and use dynamic filtering.
Just a brief interjection: each new addon you install will potentially
enlarge the attack vector of your browsy. Before starting the addon feast
frenzy ask yourself: does this overlybloated browsy made of 15 millions of
lines of code really need any more? :P

ugh, that's so murphy, as in 'the only time u don't want to start anything, u

I would LOVE a one-way pager. They don't have the problems of cellphones,
which report themselves to towers. All they can do is receive transmissions.
However, every one-way pager I've seen is reprogrammable, which means it's a
computer. Could someone please find a one-way pager that is
I also don't have that option! What is wrong?
Thanks to your earlier advice I have been using this addon for some time, and
I like it. For unknown reasons I went to the mozilla addon site and saw the
attached warning. Should I be alert or is this harmless:
Hi, Registration is disabled for everyone, you better conctact the
openmailbox team.
Right click Whisker icon --> about
And that is not even the latest version! I can't find an option to reveal the
version. Can you guide me?
Thank you for your reply loldier.
This is getting too much hassle and i dont have much more time to figure it
out and i need to work with some urgency with my pc, so i installed nvidia
drivers. It is running all well.
Please consider this topic closed. Thank you again for your support.

It is probably best to ask the openmailbox people. This is the forums for
Trisquel, and we don't run the openmailbox site.
PS: Look out for the correction
I suppose that means Devuan repo has a newer version of whisker menu?
I'm on Devuan live USB now. It's got Xfce4 4.10. I installed whisker menu
sudo apt-get install xfce4-whiskermenu-plugin

Replicant phones have the option to use encrypted communication. But this
requires for your contacts to be willing to use encrypted communication as
well, and many don't care or at least are not willing to take the
inconveniences. Hence regarding the communication it self, your flip-phone is
