I am not sure what the problem is. The computer woke up with connection just
now. It does not stop with 'sudo service networking restart'.
This device looks neat,

and once Flidas is released one could migrate from Ubuntu 16.04. I would
expect that as USB dongle will be needed for WiFi. What else would it take to
liberate this device?
1- As all the dual-booters here probably know, Trisquel has a "security
measure" that prevents you to boot Windows (or any other Gnu/Linux?), I think
it SHOULD BE REMOVED, it's makes Trisquel much less user-friendly, meaning

Hello CitoplasmaX,
Thanks for your response. I inputted the command in the Terminal, which gave
me the outcome shown in the screenshot.
We should live in a free digital world, not just a free software world. I
hope we can maintain a list of free content websites. A free content website
should use free license as much as possible, just like https://trisquel.info/
To start the list, I provide the first one:

Thanks, it works :)

Hello everyone,
As I am seriously considering the use of a free OS, I decided to install
Trisquel 7 in a virtual machine using VirtualBox in order to familiarise
myself with the system. The host OS is macOS.
After succesfully installing Trisquel, I proceeded to install the Guest
You should update to Trisquel 7.
Definitely.
But I am eagerly waiting for Trisquel GNU/Linux 8.0. (Codename: 'Flidas') as
MATE is my favourite Desktop Environment.
Do you know which version of MATE is used by the project?
It is real. In other concepts you can qualify as free something that you have
done yourself. Make an operating system and now you have something free (as
in freedom).
> Why?
It's in front of your very eyes! Think for a second...
The majority of the comments use another SO, for this or that. Nothing is
free, it's just a maniqueist concept, a good ideal.
The support is over. No more package update (in particular security fix).
Bug reports are now ignored. You should update to Trisquel 7.

I would love to know:-

No, you don't need to insist they use anything in particular. Just not Skype,
or anything else that requires use of proprietary software. Like, as I
mentioned, the phone network. Video chat is not a necessity for
communication. Heck, neither is voice. There are too many possibilities to
