Thanks for the link and scripts, CM. So, I guess I wasn't missing a button to
"check for updates", lol.
Thanks a lot quidam!
Just disable "Secure Boot" and try Trisquel, then see what happens.
I recently tested a Skylake barebone (HP Pro Desk 400 G2). To my surprise,
everything works excellently under Trisquel or deblobbed Debian. It is true
that Skylake's integrated graphics and audio require non-free firmware.
And that explains a lot. Thank you.
And a thumbs up to quidam for keeping this going!!
Isn't Icecat behind shcedule by now? I seem to have received Tor Browser
updates more recently than last Icecat version.

are WiFi and graphics. As GNUser says,
I cannot find information on updating IceCat from the installed, 52.3.0, to
the current, which appears to be 60.3.0. Am I misreading this? or is there a

Hi, fellow Trisquel users. I have a custom home PC currently running Windows
10. I'd like to install Trisquel on it but want to know if there's any
potential conflict with the hardware and if anyone has recommendations for
potential conflicts with the software. It was built with an Asus Z170
Just sudoedit the /etc/apt/sources.list and manually replace the
"archive.trisquel.info" instance with whatever is appropriate. When I
initially tried Trusquel 8, I encountered the same problem when I used the
"Software Sources" GUI to setup repositories. So I manually edited the
