KDE is different and you have to learn its ways, but isn't also Gnome3 different and you just have to learn its ways? For me the problem is that I don't like either Gnome3's nor KDE's ways (in fact I think I hate more KDE than I do Gnome3). I like Gnome2's. MATE is a fork of Gnome2 yes,

A little while ago I noticed that I had trouble with FVR (youtube screen was black and not even flashblock loaded), but I didn't know it had anything to do with youtube not wanting 3rd party apps. Easy Youtube Downloader and Linterna Mágica work just fine; I just hope they keep on working.

Thanks a lot! libdvdread4 works perfectly. As for extracting the audio of a file, the problem I have is that I don't get the filesystem on dvds (this is probably due to me not being very savvy), so I can't work it out, for now at least. For youtube files, I use easy youtube downloader.

[Trisquel-users] Problem with DVDs

Hi all. I was just trying to watch some DVDs on my PC running trisquel 5.5, and with most of them I get a message saying that they are probably encrypted, so I can't play them. On the other hand, with the ones I can play, I don't seem to be able to change language settings. Any ideas?
