I upgraded from 6 to 7 thinking everything would be hunky dory. I am having this problem and can't even get to a terminal to update this. Would you suggest using something like rescatux to edit the grub 2 file?

[Trisquel-users] Trisquel Voted Best of Breed

2014-10-20 Thread simonafreeman
I happened to pick up a magazine this week and it was doing the usual best distro of 2014. It subdivided each distro into families i.e. Fedora, Ubuntu etc. Trisquel was voted best of breed in the Ubuntu derivatives! I was shocked but not surprised as it is the best!

Hi David, I would try booting to a live session and then reformatting the partition where you planned to install Trisquel. Do you have multiple primary partitions or drives as this can cause an issue.

This is an old issue with Trisquel and Prism Break. He doesn't even care. As it has been said before, just because he thinks Ubuntu is spyware (which can be turned off see fixubuntu.com by an EFF advocate), he therefore concluded that Trisquel must be because it's based on Ubuntu. Nothing

Sounds like a corrupted image to me. I would re-download the Trisquel iso again from your windows partition and try to reinstall again. You may need to use a decent usb creator to recreate your image.
