I wouldn't know how to do this though... but I am sure you do. heh.

Fingerprinting has nothing to do with "security".
My Seamonkey has the same fingerprint of my TorBB. Just fake the useragent
That makes sense actually... what a pity.
Pretty simple, really: not very many people use SeaMonkey.

Yes, but there are several liners that are present in FF and not in
Seamonkey, but that's not a problem for those will be just sitting there
doing nothing during the execution of the browser. It works, I tested it..
Only thing, I also "turn off google" which is enabled in that profile for
are the settings the same in seamonkey as firefox?
Also, what needs to be done specifically to fix seamonkey to be free

newer laptop I use FF-esr, it performs well, well unless there are several
heavy gifs on the page (I'm thinking diaspora* right now).

I tried to compile it a while ago and failed perhaps because the demand is
not there and its difficult to do.
has anyone been successful in compiling it here?
It isn't. It's an entirely different program. Firefox diverged from Mozilla
years ago, and SeaMonkey is just the modern version of Mozilla, which itself
was derived from Netscape. Very little is similar between Firefox and
SeaMonkey at this point.
If anything, Firefox from its inception
Are you offering to do that work?
why doesn't debian or trisquel or ubuntu sponsor a version of it in their
repositories.
just curious...
