It is the most free software friendly smart phone on the planet nowadays, and
if you are interested, the Neo900 is on development.
When running on the LiveCD it looks as though I'll be allowed to try to
reformat sda6 (to fat32, I hope) because it's unmounted right now.
Yes.
If gparted can do that without destroying whatever data that 300MB
represents on the unmounted sda6, then I'd shrink the reformatted sda6
I use a Samsung Galaxy S3 with Replicant on it and can't complain so far.
Just note that you won't be able to use wi-fi and GPS without proprietary
drivers.
The OpenMoko phone is hard to obtain and I'm also waiting for the Neo900.
Thunderbird won't install from Add/Remove Applications, so I tried sudo
apt-get install thunderbird, whereupon I was informed that IceDove had
replaced Thunderbird and the installation of IceDove proceeded forthwith
without incident.
Now I'm hunting for the Profiles location so I can start

Maybe it is enough to switch it off. That can be done from the language

Thanks for the tip. Ill try that for next dev-enviroment (all the git repos

Thanks for the feedback :D. Glad you like what is being done.

In another thread I asked about bringing mail (stored in Mozilla-style

The entire point of it's creation is to be a libre, peer to peer,

Mainly, that instead of cleaning the manpages, I've just decided to remove
them. There might be something else that I've forgotten, though.
I've just released LibertyBSD! You can get the installation files here:

Thanks Magic Banana. I entered all five of the commands you listed above.
They all seemed to execute OK.
What command(s) do I enter in order to get back to my live CD, and then

Did you turn key echo off? Use 'orca+space' to get the preferences gui. On
the 'key echo' tab, you can set what keys, if any, are echoed by orca. This
can stop orca from saying 'control', 'alt', 'shift', etc. Even if all keys
are echoed, the keystrokes should pass through to the app in

You should have ordered a GeForce GT 610.
I stopped playing proprietary games about a year ago (I play only on a PC, so
no console gaming either).
Try playing only free games for some time and see how it goes. The
proprietary games may eventually feel redundant.
To anybody who uses it:
How is it? Good? no? How long is battery life? How does Replicant run on it?
