Hi Mark,
This is very useful.
I filed tickets for 1, 2, and 3. I've never used Pylons, SA, TG, etc
before (or even Python for that matter), or I'd file patches rather
than just tickets. It all looks clean, so sonce I learn a lot more, I
hope I'll be able to contribute some.

Thanks for the update. I'm mostly working in Django these days, but
am still interested in how TG is coming along. As a third party
observer, I'd like to offer the constructive criticism that TG is not

Unfourtunately I've been very busy, and out of town a LOT over the
last month and a half. So I haven't been able to move things forward
as quickly as I'd like.
At the same time we've been waiting on three major things:
1) ToscaWidgets integration
2) Transaction handling middleware

There was a flurry of activity in late June regarding TG2 which seems
to have pretty much died out by early July. Would anyone care to give
a status report on the progress of pygears/TG2? Or is there already
someplace that such summaries are available?

I'm trying out Turbogears for the first time and figured I'd start
with TG2. It looks very promising.
I suspect these are known issues, but I didn't see most of them in
Trac, so I figured it would be useful to report/ask (and please feel
free to follow up if I'm wrong):
