is http://bitbucket.org/mramm/tg-21/ now the official development
version of TG2? If yes, can you give me push access (my bitbucket name
is cito)? Or can I just continue to commit to the SVN trunk of TG2?

I used
python setup.py test
and while that works, it clutters my working-copy with a huge number of
egg-directories.
This probably happens if you haven't installed the core-testing
requirements under site packages.

Sure, that would work, and would probably get us up and running on the
new server sooner. Let's see what elpargo has to say about all this
as he was working on this stuff before he left for vacation ;)
