No "nearly" about it...the MLB Network international crew called at least one
inning last year when FOX's truck lost power. We were free from Joe Buck for an
all too brief time. It was magnificent while it lasted.

Next Monday's episode of "The Odd Couple" will pay tribute to Garry Marshall
- who played Oscar's dad Walter in the reboot - by bringing in people who
worked with Walter/Garry.
And yes, sister Penny (who played Oscar's secretary in the original) will be
there to recall past happy days along with
Sean McDonough and Jon Gruden ain't doing it for me. Hearing the MNF theme
song, I remember how excited I used to get to watch it. Now it's just meh. I
think the announcers used to keep it interesting. I can't think of any who do
that today.
Maybe I changed.
