FWIW, I enjoyed the first few innings when the game zipped along. When the game slowed down, though, I thought Fox added absolutely nothing, and the broadcast became interminable, even as the game itself remained close.
Smoltz's insights are fine, but if he's still doing the job in ten years, we'll become as sick of him as we were/are of McCarver.
