Okay, so the Guilfoyle speech seemed like kind of bad TV I kind of thought
Trump’s Apprentice producers were supposed to prevent. This Pardon video is
exactly the kind of bad TV I assumed they were supposed to deliver.

This ain't the first time two people have come knocking with similar takes
on the same topic, and I'm reasonably confident it won't be the last. No
apology needed, good
So, this is exactly the kind of thing I had in mind when I inquired what
the Apprentice producers were like, in terms of style and competence (I see
now that I bogarted Joe’s thread in the same NYT article, apologies).
As Bob notes, this speech was a complete and total train wreck, I think

It's kind of like "Dallas" with cattle. Kevin Costner stars as wealthy
patriarch John Dutton. He is head of a dysfunctional family and ended up
in the season finale with a cliffhanger whose tagline is, "Who Shot J.D.?"
It is set in Montana and the geography is gorgeous, the action scenes are

I watched the speech and it didn't work for me. I am trying to list the
reasons why.
No. 1 a speech like that needs an audience to react. Guilfoyle's
shortcomings as an orator are amplified by the echoes of an empty
auditorium.
No. 2 is that she lacked sincerity. Think of all the great civil
