It was Chevy as Ford--the cold opening of the fourth episode in November
1975, Candace Bergen's first guest host. The first topical cold opening of
the series (the previous were Michael O'Donaghue's Wolverines sketch, Paul
Simon singing "Still Crazy After All These Years" (with Chevy Chase's
Suffice it to say. I'd seen the storm warnings on Twitter, so I was
prepared to FF through the segments. Based on what I saw of her skit,
though, I'd say she hasn't lost a step.
As least we were spared too much (which is to say, "any") McKinnon.
