Speaking as an old cishet white male, let me say that, if it’s not intended to be funny, it’s not “comedy.” It can still be a gripping one-person show, but it’s not comedy. The definition of what’s “funny” will vary from person to person, but it’s intent that matters in my mind. —Dave Sikula
