Here at Yoono we do have a lot of Chinese users and we use the Twitter
API with no issue at all.
Just make sure you are using UTF-8 encoding, especially when computing
OAuth signatures

does not have any of the OAuth infrastructure and a number of the concepts
it mentions are now significantly

provide an API - to make it easy!
Just use curl to retrieve the JSON and convert it to an array.

Below are the times when the errors showed up - they come at random
times and are either for lookupuser or showuser (the two APIs is use).
I guess those are just random issues with the service, and this will
not impact my application.
