We submitted an application (via a bit.ly form link) for access to the
link stream/fire hose about 2.5 weeks ago and haven't yet received a
response. We've been working with the filter stream so far and need
more access to go beta and actually launch paid accounts for our start-
up. What
I don't think that's entirely true. If the keyword goes above a
certain frequency then it will get rate limited (for example we have
an open stream for "http" to get links and only see about 20% of the
overall links). We're seeing about 50 tweets / second so I would
