Maybe, but the question is what specifically should be done to make ICS support
IPv6. On the component level all IP's are operated as strings - no problem
here. Maybe you'll just need to implement a pair of new functi
Just curious, why? AFAIK Ip6 is not compatible to Ip4, so why not
implement a new branch? Or is the idea that one component should be able
to handle all?
Yes, of course.
I think so--another branch will cause a lot of rework for future updates,
wouldn't it?

You can't make a version for IPv6 only.

I wonder, what changes should be done to support IPv6. For now I see
onlu few functions like gethostaddr etc, and some Socks5 stuff. This
seems not very hard to implement (provided that new APIs appear).

Situation has not changed sinced last time someone asked: I will do IPv6
when a customer will ask for it for a large enough project.
If enough peoples are interested, we can do a similar thing as we've done
for ICS-SSL: peoples give some financial contribution to fund the
development and I do it.
Hi Francois,
I believe it would be better you to state the amount of payment to collect.
