Yes of course, in case of custom client AND server. That makes sense. I was thinking only for the web :). Then I think this is the way. A question, why delphi's zlib library cannot be used for gzip/deflate? I used it in my app for decompressing gzip/deflate and Flash files. Is it that it is not
