Hi all,
I'm new using Typo3, and going to like and use it to build my new sites.
Now, I'm learning Typo3 from its Introduction Package[0], and finally
find a newbie's question: How to modify the content of the footer?
Like 'Related Links', or 'TYPO3 in social networks'?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
if i remember right, you're not allowed to change the introduction
package (license ccnd).
But please take a look in Web Templates one site should have a
template where the footer is defined ;)

Hello,
I haven't seen this documented anywhere, but I ran into a problem
where I need a NOT operator in one of my conditions. Since it is not
possible to nest conditions, I broke mine up into 3 seperate
conditions. The logic should work like this:

Hi Martin,
When you said: I pasted this function at the end of typo3conf/localconf.php.
Is it realy the solution? I was told personnal changes done in this file
are deleted/crashed by any update done by Typo3 itself. Is that right?
Cheers,
Ben

Like has been discussed in this thread[1], right?
Actually, I'm doing this for learning purpose, not for commercial use

I think it's a good place where to put the function. It would be better
if it was possible to use a method from a custom class included by
includeLibs but unfortunately that's not supported in conditions.

Indeed this is not very wise. If you look at the typo3conf/localconf.php
file you will notice a PHP comment which reads:

environnment this part of setup cannot be reused.
Additional comments are welcome.

Hello,
I have some problems understanding the workflow and the correct settings
for the new workspaces module in TYPO3 4.5.
I have two backend users: an editor and a publisher.
I have some backend user groups:
- role_editors for the editors
- role_publisher for the publishers

Hi Ben,
the technical part shows the best practises, the layout it self is under
a special license.
Hope this is fully correct - but this is how i remember the discussion.
I created a template which is fully gpled ;)

Hi Jan,
thanks for the hint that solved the problem
There's no mapping for tx_cal_controller[getdate], so it's not
translated.

You are looking at the constant editor. Use the dropdown at the very to to
select info/modify. Then you will be able to see the actual TypoScript (TS)

Have a look at your database or at the ext_tables.sql of the extension,
which adds the fields. Our you use Firebug to inspect the ID of the
input field of the forms. This contains the table
The only table alteration I see in ext_tables.sql is this:
#
# Table structure for table 'tt_content'
#
CREATE TABLE tt_content (
tx_multicolumn_parentid int(11) DEFAULT '0' NOT NULL
);
and I don't think this field will help me disable the tab I wish...

But how? As you can see the only field it appears in the database is
parentid and this one is not even an option in the backend...

Hello Enrique,
easiest way to get table names and fieldnames is to install firebug in
firefox (or use any other inspector your browser has)
- hover the field and rightclick - inspect element
- each form field has an attribute called name e.g.:
data[pages][65][shortcut_mode]
^^^^
Gorgeous. That's the tip I was needing. Thanks very much. Im keeping this
mail for the future ;)

The fastest way is using Firefox FireBug or other similar code inspector
(ie. built-in Chrome), generally it should be somwhere in name attribute
of choosen input.
ie. Field 'After'
