I am wondering if I'm the only one with this problem:
1) unzip typo3_src+dummy-6.1.7.zip file
2) Create an empty DB + User
3) Start the installer wizard and in Step 3, after click on Import you
get this error:
The database is still empty. There are no tables!
Go to Step 3 and
The same happens following the wizard on introduction package (t3 6.1.7).

The installer tool of typo3 v 6.1.7 does not work with PHP 5.3 and PHP 5.5,
for some reason it works on PHP 5.4 (Thanks Michael now at least I can go
on with my task).

I know that typo3 stores the session in database but, is it using the
session_set_save_handler() php function for EVERY request? Because
we're having this problem during the login process, the next request
to the login comes without permissions and the second after that is
correct.
The truth is both the documentation and some special answers are only
found in german.
Actually the documentation in german is much more complete.
There are days that I hate typo3, and it's because of that, because
the only answer was in german :P
