Hi Dominic,
thanks for anwsering.
My config is similar to yours. But I didnt initialize sr_language_menu.
Maybe this was the mistake. I will just try it.

sys_language_mode = content_fallback
sys_language_overlay = 1
sys_language_uid = 0

Hi,
not sure about that, but maybe it's a pointer.
I think the guys from t3n create their magazine within a TYPO3 Setup.
IIRC there was also an article about that.

I am using the Filelinks plugin on my page and it is reading the files from a

Standard Search Form content element.
This is only CE, that displays a form - not a search engine. You should use
it in combination with indexed_search.

Hi, Tobias.
As a different approach, you can create a menu with TS only. Here is my
usual setup for this:
lib.lang_menu = HMENU
lib.lang_menu {
special = language
special.value = 0,1
special.normalWhenNoLanguage = 0
1 = TMENU
1 {
NO = 1
NO.linkWrap = span|/span
NO.ATagBeforeWrap = 1

Hi Dominic,
one more option to choose. But no success.
Don't know what the problem is. I tried some examples from other manuals but
no config works.
Has anybody another idea?
This is the current version of an example from another manual.

lib.menuMain.20 {

I managed to implement the search box, just took the standard search form

Sounds interesting. Output to InDesign is definitely something we had on
our radar, instead of straight production of PDFs.

Hi Victor,
thanks for your example. TMENU is my preferred way too. Yours similar to
mine. But I will test its configuration like yours. Maybe it will help.

Hello Sergey,
I also try to use the standard search box, because my language amharic
is not supported by indexed search.
I am working on 4.5 and there is no chance to use indexed search. I
wonder why there are nothing about these issues for the Kyrillic or Thai
languages.

Hi Victor,
This doesn't work too. Now instead of [german] [english] stand the two
different labels for the starting page (I called them home and homepage for
internal differentiation).
Anyone one more idea?

Hi Tobias,
did you install the extension sr_language_menu and had a look what the
output of your lib.languageMenu made? Usually this works out of the box,
you also can have a look at the manual of the extension, there are
different ways for getting the language menu working.
