Dear All, Ive a doubt on RPC.CONNECT. i Juz test on a a simple program connecting remote server with RPC.CONNECT eg CONNECTION=RPC.CONNECT(remote.server,uvdrsrv) . When i run with normal userid, once connection to remote server, it show connected as a root id eg :

If the SAMBA crosses the network, then I think you might run into UVNet issues. If it doesnt cause too much trouble, just create a type 19 file and put all the data that you want to off load there. Then you can archive the data at the OS level. I had to do something like this on a per record

I have run into the same problem a few years ago. I tried a number of things like removing spaces between the variables, ie var1,var2,var3. I also broke the named common into multiple smaller blocks. It eventually worked but I then could not replicate the problem to identify what caused it to
