Is the UOLOGIN feature for UniObjects supported on UniVerse, or is it UniData
only?
Thanks

In Appendix F (BASIC Subroutines) of the online PDF manual page F-10
Mention is made of a CUSTOM.GTI.DEFS file.
This page tells me Each terminal keystroke definition record
contains a maximum of
82 fields (attributes) which directly correspond to the keystroke
code listed in
the GTI.FNKEYS.IH
Can you tell me where the UOLOGIN documentation is? I search the Unidata
manuals for 7.1 and can't find any reference. - Thanks Rod

Can anyone provide me with an example of how to add a new record to a Unidata
database file using
VB.NET?
I am using Uniobjects and am able to connect to the database but I am unsure
of how to go about
doing record adds. The datafile has several multi-value attributes (fields)
so any examples

Hi Colin,
You wouldn't by chance have an URL to those examples would you?
Thanks a lot!
Greg
If you have access to the IBM knowledge base there are a couple of example
projects in there that will give you everything you need.

Adrian,
Take a look at VT220.IKBIND in SYS.TERMINALS, fields 22 to 103 are the
keystrokes produced by a standard VT220 terminal.
It's not clear from your email what you are trying to do but this file is only
used in conjunction with !EDIT.INPUT to cause it to beep rather than exiting

Greg:
This is a very difficult question. The IBM Knowledge Base is only
accessible to IBM authorized VARs. This restriction has been discussed here
and, for the most part, declared to be not in the best interests of the U2
product(s). The URL is:
Thanks Bill,
That echoes what Colin has also said. Sad that IBM is making it so
difficult for new programmers to use unidata, universe and
uniobjects. Makes me want to push for an oracle database. ;)
Thanks for your help.

Does Oracle open it's knowledge base to everyone? Does DB2? Does Informix? I
know that the gpl databases probably do but do any of the other top dollar
databases do it? If it's only U2 then it should open up.
