Sorry guys,
Does anyone have any example code of sending graphics to dot matrix printers
using ESC/P commands in Unibasic or similar ?

I always use :
OCONV(DATE(),'DDMY,A,Z4')
In data that is going to a spreadsheet, it means Excel knows it is a date and
stops Excel changing the format to American (we are based in the U.K.).

Having the locale set as LANG=C causes some weirdness in a linux command that
is called from unidata, I know that the unidata manual warns : If you use a
LANG setting other than C, note that certain UniData commands may cause
unpredictable results, such as the UniBasic UPCASE and DOWNCASE
Perhaps a more normal LANG=en_GB ? It is to remove a problem with date
formatting, so just something that would make the date european would work.

Any thoughts as to what to check to fix this, I used to be able to connect
from the P.C. but not now, I can connect using UniAdmin but not other
programmes, the following vbs code gives error 39207 when trying to connect :
Dim UV If DoConnection() = False Then
Msgbox Could not connect
Does anyone know how this is changed, it seems to be changed by IV300 but I
can't find any basic code, or code in a screen or a process to do the change?

I am having problems copying and pasting data within this control, pasting text
from any other source works but if I copy data from the grid and paste it back
to the grid it does not work. Any ideas? The data looks O.K. in the clipboard.
I am using wIntegrate version 6.
Not directly related to U2 but perhaps someone has experience of this. I have
large print run that we would like to staple in sections (varying numbers of
pages per section, possibly different numbers of sections per run). Can this
be done without too much trouble from a UNIBASIC programme
Does that mean that a user in that programme will get the new version of the
programme immediately or that when they come out and go back in to it they get
the new version?

Good Day!
Is there a way when a programme is compiled to force all new users to use the
new version, we normally either compile from AE using FIBCDF, or press F8 from
the SE editor.

I am trying to compile a programme and I get the error No more LCTs, there

I have some report writer reports that are called from the programe that

Is there a way to get the values reported by SETPTR, especially the

that the format of the output of the SETPTR command is not consistant,
making parsing difficult.

We have two very large files from which I often have to remove data to stop

we could allow them to hold more data and choose when to remove old data

Is it possible to configure wIntegrate so that text and graphic characters

At the comment we (using IBSfont) can maximise the window but get a big

Any ideas how to stop this, without refactoring a *very* big programme, it
seems to be complaining about the number of strings we have defined,
commenting out a sufficient number seems to solve it. I am hoping there is
a setting that can be set to change the number of constants allowed in a
