This thread made me check on my local library as it was a U2 system
running Dynix. Unfortunately, they've just recently upgraded and it
looks like Dynix has moved away from this type of platform.
The Dynix website mentions that some of their IBM clients are switching
to DB2. What a bummer.
Ah, but they could still be using U2 - just UniData 7.1 as the
application server to DB2...

I've encountered a number of U2 applications in my normal day-to-day life.
First was the Colorado AAA - don't know what app or database they were
running, but did note they were running either Dynamic Connect or
wIntegrate on the workstation.
