Hi Mike, I wrote the system you are probably thinking of for CROSS Pty Ltd in Sydney. It will do small jobs in memory or you can build up enormous documents a character/line/page at a time writing to a sequential file handle. Whether this will generate 12k lines in 2 minutes probably depends
